Meerut: A local councilor created a ruckus with the people of the area at a cafe near Eaves intersection located in the Civil Line police station area in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Local people accused the cafe operator of running a sex racket under the protection of the police.
After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took into custody four employees present at the cafe including a young man and a girl. Police also found objectionable items on the spot. The police have started interrogating the accused.
Several times information was given by the local people to the police station about sex racket running in the Festa House Cafe near Eves intersection in the Civil Line area of Meerut, but no action was taken. After this, the local people complained about this to the area councilor Uttam Saini.
The councilor created a ruckus by reaching the cafe with a large number of local people. The local people who reached the café alleged that the café operator had appointed a youth from a particular sect as the manager of the café. The manager is running a sex racket in the cafe. Objectionable activities were being carried out in the cafe for a long time.
Councilor Uttam Saini said that underage clothes in school dress were found in objectionable condition inside the cafe and objectionable items were also found in the hidden cabin built in the cafe. On information, the police team also reached the spot. The police detained the cafe employees including a young man and a girl and started investigating the case.
The councilor and nearby people have accused the cafe of carrying out wrong activities under the protection of the police. When I wanted to get information from SSP Rohit Singh Sajwan on this matter, he refused to say anything on this matter saying that it is an investigation.
