Jammu Kashmir Kulgam Terrorist Encounter Update: Security forces have so far killed five terrorists in DH Pora of Kulgam in South Kashmir. If sources are to be believed, some more terrorists are still trapped in the area. At present firing is going on from both sides. The bodies of the terrorists have not been recovered yet.

The operation has continued since then. The firing between terrorists and security forces resumed after a night lull in the DH Pora area in south Kashmir’s Kulgam, officials said.
A top police officer said the operation remained suspended throughout the night and was resumed with first light this morning. Yesterday, a fierce gunbattle took place between a group of terrorists and a joint team of security forces in Samno after specific input was received about the presence of terrorists in the area.
5 army soldiers were martyred on 13 September
Let us tell you that last month in Jammu and Kashmir, a terrorist killed a police inspector by shooting three bullets in the Idgah area. The inspector was identified as Masroor Ali Wani. TRF had taken responsibility for this attack.
The inspector was playing cricket with local youth when the attack took place. Three officers and two soldiers were martyred in the terrorist attack on September 13 in Jammu and Kashmir. The terrorists opened fire on the security forces when they were conducting a search operation.
Bashir Ahmed Malik was also killed
On November 15 too, an encounter took place in the same area, in which two terrorists were killed. One of them was the dreaded cross-border terrorist Bashir Ahmed Malik and the security forces were looking for him.
